There was evidence of widespread wind effect from previous strong northeasterly winds that extended down into the treeline. A dusting of new snow freshened up the skiing a little, but north and east aspects were still mostly crunchy as they were scoured down to an old crust. On south and west aspects we were cautious of some stubborn old wind slabs near ridgetop that still seemed capable of producing small slabs.
