Excellent ski quality on Forum Ridge. Up to 70cm of new snow overlies a facet crust combo. This weak layers character varies widely by location. The facts seem most developed in sheltered areas below treeline. We remotely triggered a pair of size 2 avalanches from about 100m away. These avalanches failed on a 3cm layer of facets that is sitting directly above a crust.
