Skiing quality on north aspects was great in protected areas. Surface hoar crystals made for easy trail breaking and great turns. South aspects were sun affected with a breakable crust.
Avalanche
Remote triggered a small cornice failure which pulled out a small windslab below. Slope was low angle on a north facing aspect at 1500m. Winds were strong coming from the S. Significant recent loading.
