Sheltered, High, North.

We had strong gusts coming through all day at treeline from the southwest. They were transporting some snow but not a lot, we didn't have any cracking or signs of instability in lee areas. Higher in the alpine the wind was scouring snow and carrying it far away. We had great riding on north facing, sheltered terrain up high. Cut blocks at 1700 m were shallow and scarry, lots of stumps!
