Spearhead Saucer Phalanx Food

Amazing conditions in blackcomb backcountry. Pressed powder made for fast skiing. Hard work trail breaking, 15cm ski pen. Very few groups out in the morning, got busier in the afternoon. No signs of instability in the backcountry, although we could see the inbounds sz 2 from the top of Foon. All south facing slopes we could see were still intact, and hadn’t slid yet. From 11:00 - 13:00 it felt a lot warmer, but then cooled down in the afternoon with light winds. Hazy overcast all day.
