open slopes have seen a lot of wind and the storm snow has settled quickly over the last three days. pockets of wind slab on lee slopes. still powder to be found in the protected trees below the ridge lines. saw no activity but hand shears show a storm layer down 20cm giving clean breaks on a layer of graupel and the 50cm of storm snow showing a mix of non planar brakes and sudden planar brakes. witnessed sledders gang banging the open slopes of south quest with no results.
