•Observed minimal avalanche activity except for multiple size 1s in steep terrain on lee aspects. None looked to have stepped down further than recent storm snow. •Ski conditions were variable — decent snow on North aspects and schmooy snow around 1200m that would now be rock hard. All aspects wind affected. Some good snow in sheltered areas below tree line above 1450m. •no surface hoar observed on Jan 2-3 •treacherous ski out the toboggan creek trail
