+20cm of new snow, mostly loose powder in unexposed areas. Reactivity (a few cm to 30cm or more) became more regular as the day progressed. Wind transport has deposited intermittent pockets of varying sizes that will react readily. These pockets will be hidden by any new snow accumulation making travel in this valley precarious at best.
