Spearhead Glacier

Spearhead Obs around Saucer Lake area. Skies clear. Winds nil. Temps -7 in shade, +2 in sun. Sluffing observed on solar aspects. Pronounced meltfreeze on pure S aspects. On N slopes approx 30cms of low density snow overlays a supportive pack. Probed 320cms + HS on ridgelines with caveat being that wind transport has exposed lots of rocks.
