We were at the Wendy Thompson hut 2/2-2/4. We skied with the belief that if the snow could go, it would. The storm snow was not bonded well to the lower crust and was reactive. We ended up on lower angle slopes with clean runout and set off several small storm slabs. When skinning, we heard whumphing when too close to convexities. We ended up skiing mostly S/SW aspects. On the exit from the Wendy Thompson hut, we saw cracking on the SW slopes but didn’t see any slides. The large avy path on the NW slope exit didn’t have any visible concerns.
