Weather

Mild, sunny day with a moderate breeze along ridgetops.

Snowpack

Shady alpine slopes harbor the deepest snowpack, but mild temperatures around the clock continues to slows the faceting process. In general snow-covered slopes were supportable to the weight of a skier and the best traveling conditions were found on lower angle slopes were the snow-surface was textured. Sunny slopes and most slopes below treeline lack continuous snow cover. No cracking, collapsing, or avalanche activity observed.
