Temps in high teens F, light to moderate winds out of the west, partially obscured visibility above treeline.

Avalanche

Northwest side of Iceberg Lakes, directly under the Continental Divide. Above treeline at about 12,000 feet, SE aspect, HS avalanche, natural trigger, R2 D1.5. New storm snow slid off old wind slab and did not step down into older layers. Crown appeared to be 100 feet across, 12-20 inches high on a 45 degree slope angle and ran about 200 feet down the slope.
