Weather

Warm, sunny day. Nice breeze near treeline and above kept snow surfaces in check.

Avalanche

Many loose wet avalanches ran yesterday (1/28) on east through south to west-facing slopes above and near treeline. Mostly size 1.5, but debris piles reached size 2 where smaller slides converged. Wet snow slides below treeline smaller and more isolated - mostly along steep banks of gullies and road cuts. Slides confined to moistening snowfall over the last week running above a buried crust.
