About 30 cm to 60cm powder on top of crusty layer just above ground level. Fun first turns of season in pow, but often contacting older ski tracks/ridges in frozen crusty layer. Noticed older avalanche fracture line on steeper section below rocks to the SW, short runout. Skied SE aspect, lower portion of avalanche path. No avalanche activity.
