Traveled as high as Zoa sup-peak (1830m). No whumps or shooting cracks. Did not see any signs of recent avalanching. Some pinwheeling in afternoon when the sun came out. Evidence of high winds in he past couple of days. Tough trail breaking with 50-60cm of ski pen in protected areas. Rode slopes up to 27 deg. Excellent day out with great skiing/riding.

Scattered clouds throughout day. Sun came out in afternoon (13:00). Storm clouds moving in by end of day. Winds were calm to light in AM increasing to moderate in afternoon with light blowing snow at ridge crest. Temps hovered around 0C through out the day in the shade.

For the snow geeks: 385HS. CTE9,3 (SP), ECTN 4 down 5cm on DFbk 0.5. CTM16,13 (SP), ECTN16 down 35 on DF 0.5. CTM19 (RP) down 44. Did not observe Feb surface hoar mentioned in the north region of forecast.
