Weather

Overcast skies, very light snowfall (S-1), calm winds.

Snowpack

About 3ft of recent but settled snow rests above rounding large grained facets. We did not dig below this interface. Within the recent new snow is a melt freeze crusts which formed during unusually high temperatures in the first week of March. Two (x2) Extended Column Tests did not produce any results. However, the slab did fail and propagate at the facet/new snow interface with additional loading. See Snowpilot for more info.
