CLR skies, cold air temps, strong solar radiation, moderate northerly ridgetop winds, calm winds ATL, NTL, BTL.

Snowpack

Great surface conditions, 15-30cm's of low density surface snow over strong midpack on N, E, and W aspects. Southerlies had a noteworthy crust below the storm snow, overlying weak facets. All aspects have weak basal facets. Observed all of the signs of instability today. Rumbling collapses, shooting cracks, and recent avalanches (both skier triggered and natural).
