Weather

Started off overcast and somewhat chilly. Skies cleared and subsequently temps rose quickly. Some gusty winds to start, these also died away.

Snowpack

New snow depths in the 5-7 inch range. Some drifting had occurred up high, but any wind slabs were soft and did not react to skis. No cracking or collapsing observed. Snowpit on northwest near treeline: HS 250cm, HST ~7inches. CT results within recent new snow and score of 22 at the Feb drought layer interface. Slab above is a robust 1F ~50cm thick capped with a prominent crust that formed March 24-27.Hard results (ECTN25) below this mfc. Below treeline on north, HS 155cm and moist grains to the ground.

Avalanche

Multiple dry snow sluffs in steep northerly terrain in the morning. Multiple wet loose sluffs on east by 130pm.
