Weather

Clear and cool in the morning. Warmed up nicely. Some light wind-drifting near ridgetop but wind loading wasn't widespread or particularly impressive.

Snowpack

Very weak snow beneath a scattering of hard slabs. The slabs weren't continuous across the slope. Distribution was smaller pockets in terrain features. We got one small collapse in one of these places. Slab was thin, about 3 to 5 inches thick. We didn't make it to ridgetop but snow texture looked similar to what we saw down low.
