Storm snow on Surface Hoar.

10-20cm of low density snow fell over the past 24 hours covering the surface hoar layer that formed through the high pressure system. There were a number of obvious clues on our way up the trail, cracking on cut banks and evidence of avalanche activity that provided enough information to dial back our terrain choices for the day.
