Sunny weather, face started receiving sun at 7:20 am.
Snowpack
38 degree slope, cracks propagated past the crown. D1 R1 slow moving wind slab. Failed on sun/ wind crust layer near surface did not break to ground. The crown was 3 feet at the center tapering to one foot at the sides. Rocks were covered pre slide.
Avalanche
We did get a small whumph on a more North east aspect on the Apron of the zipper at 12,400.
