8-12in of wind slab on some older faceted layers but mostly bare ground/rock. Very touchy.
Avalanche
Nearly identical to last weeks avalanche on the other side of the trailhead. Steep wind loaded slope between the dense trees and trailhead/parking. Covered an often used skin track. Triggered from above while testing slope and traversing to normal decent via skin track.
