Strong winds throughout the day. Lots of blowing snow. Sunny!
Snowpack
Strong winds have loaded north through east facing slopes near and above treeline. Sunny slopes got sloppy throughout the day.
Avalanche
Large avalanche (possibly triggered by cornice fall) off the north face of Macomber Peak. Looked fresh. Probably ran Saturday night or Sunday morning before 10 am. Debris nearly reached the Animas.
