Weather
Mod winds out of SW drifting ample snow on ridge lines. S-1 to S2 through the morning. Sun poked out for a few minutes here and there around 10:30. Snow let up around 1100-1130 when we were back in the parking lot.
Snowpack
HST seemed to be ~ 6" BTL, ~ 8" NTL, and ~ 10" as we tickled into the alpine. Wind loaded zones were 10-15" deep. Minor cohesion observed in only the most wind loaded of zones. In places where the storm snow fell onto a firm slick surface it was easily failing with a clean interface on hand shears. In most N/E aspects though this was not the case.
Avalanche
Saw some small debris piles below 2nd creek headwall. Natural loose dry or very very soft slab. Size .5 - 1.
