Weather
Cool and blue bird to start the day. Some drifting snow confined to ridgelines in the alpine. Clouds began to build around noon, becoming mostly clousy to over cast by 4pm.
Snowpack
Alpine shows signs of heavy wind effect. West-facing start zones scoured. South-facing slopes cross-loaded, and north and east facing slopes have plump wind drifts. There is no evidence of dust in this area.
Avalanche
There were several avalanches that ran during the last cycle. Estimated that these avalanches were 4 days old or so. The cycle was not widespread in this area, and avalanches were confined to above treeline terrain facing north and east. Mostly D2 in size, but one on near New York Peak looked to be 2.5
