Weather
Mostly clear skies and warm. No snow transport at ridgeline, little if any would be available with current surface conditions. Clouds did begin to build as we were heading out but still mostly clear.
Snowpack
Near 11,300 feet, the total depth ranged between 210 and 250 cm. A pencil hard 3cm crust was in tact at the surface with another 2cm crust 25 cm down from the surface. Below the second crust, the snowpack has become mostly homogeneous 1 finger to pencil hard rounds down to the depth hoar, which makes up the bottom 50 centimeters of the snowpack. The depth hoar is rounding and moist. No results could be produced in extended column tests.
Avalanche
From Ashcroft working up to Taylor Pass along Express Creek, roughly 75 percent of all visible avalanche terrain appeared to have avalanched since the beginning of March.
