Weather
Fickle spring weather with periods of heavy snowfall (2"/hour) followed by periods of sunshine. ~2" new snow fell where we were, though likely less elsewhere. Weather stations show relatively cool ambient air temp, but solar radiation was strong despite being filtered through clouds.
Snowpack
While the area did receive a good round of snowfall Thurs-Sat, it has been 10 days since our last major loading event with a period of warm temps in between. The snowpack has largely adjusted to the last big load and is no longer showing glaring signs of instability. No cracking, collapsing, nor sluffing, even on steeper test slopes. Surface instabilities (mostly roller balls) noted on slopes that catch sun.
