Snowpack
4-6 inches of new snow fell in the Battleship area. Other riders reported deeper accumulations at upper elevations. Pockets of drifted snow up to 18 inches near ridgelines. Cornices were a little bigger, but not reactive. In general, the new snow seems to have bonded well to the preexisting snow surface. Drifted pockets were not reactive to ski pressure. The new snow was fast and dense. No cracking or collapsing.
