Observed several point releases (size 1) below cornice- some moderate wind at mountain top from the North was creating minimal reverse loading. Had a whumfph at mountain top and ski'd mellow terrain in relatively dense tree'd zones and found great snow. Variety of layers in snowpack providing a series of inconsistent results, of most concern was the HARD and MOD range Compression test results down 70 on well preserved Surface Hoar layer and down 80cm on Facet crust interface.
