Toured the west facing aspect at white boar. The rain crust is still very present, anywhere from 0-15 cm deep. This made ascending frustratingly hard and near impossible in steeper areas. The riding was quite variable, with pockets of deep snow and pockets of straight crust. The wind was strong all day and reached perhaps 80km/hr when we got to the alpine. Significant amount of snow moving around but hard to say from what direction, felt like from the N... we were just trying our best to not get blown away. Saw signs of old debris on N and E aspects. Stability seemed good otherwise, did not notice and slabs forming on the W aspect we were on. Temps were quite mild around -4.
