Weather

Sunny, cool day. Temperatures below freezing, but not cold. There was a light southeast breeze at ridge top and calm elsewhere.

Snowpack

60-110cm of snow. A preserved layer of 6-7mm surface hoar layer was found in 3 of 4 profiles about 30cm above the ground. This generally 5cm below the decomposing crust. ECTPV results on this layer on SE and W. NE the surface hoar wasn't found, but similar results.
