Entrance to descent was thick wind slab. Skier 1 entered far skiers right to avoid slab and stopped safely below the entrance. Skier two entered safely and kept skiing. On their first turn they triggered the edge of the wind slab. The slope broke about 60% across and skier 2 was pulled off their feet. The snow moved faster than the fallen skier and the skier only traveled about 10 meters before coming to a stop. The snow continued to the bottom of the couloir. The deposition was shallow. Not enough to bury a person, but the slope and the walls of the couloir could have definitely been a problem if there had been more snow entrained.
