Dark and gloomy on Monarch Pass and other parts of the GUN and SAW where NW orographics drove localized storms. Seemed to have a good convective element too w/ graupel and billowing cumulous.

One fresh avalanche in Red Lady bowl in storm snow. Looked shallow, but ran as far as Sunday's skier triggered one. One small wind slab on drifted feature in Whetstone. Coded in separate avalanche observation so they go in GUN.
