Snowpack

Pits dug on SE aspect @ 9700ft showed winds slabs up to 40cm in depth triggered on mostly CTM results with RP character. We saw some reactivity on deeper layers (sun crust/facet combo) but they were hard to trigger (CTH down 66cm & CTH down 105cm). We saw no propagation on the wind slabs (ECTN down 25-40cms in all pits) we did however see some propagation on the sun crust/facet layer down 66cm (ECTP30 down 66cm). Hand shears showed some easy activity on the wind slab layers.

No whumphing or collapsing observed, no avalanches seen.
