Clearing after the storm. Light NW wind and mild temps.

Snowpack

With limited time I was only able to get a short distance up Silver Creek and stayed well below treeline. Sunday's storm had little wind to move snow around and therefore any storm instabilities settled out quickly where I traveled. The lower regions of the below treeline zone are developing a strong snowpack. Now 60-90cm deep with little to no weak snow at the ground. As you ascend higher you begin to see the depth hoar at around 11K on the north half of the compass. South aspects have various crusts and I observed a new radiation recrystallization crust with small grained facets on top on low angle SE aspects.
