**Driving. Pretty mellow if you have high clearance. Some deep ice ruts just after the blue bridge at km3. With new snow forecast and wind, there could be drifting to deal with after Monday. **The Birdcage had a fair bit of ice for the mixed climbers. Dead Bird is ded. Lower ice for Yellowbird had some dinner plating. Actual climb had an easier interesting line up the left edge. Middle was wet. Right side had soft ice in the sun but quite chandeliered and vertical. Hard to protect I think without significant cleaning. Far right has suffered a collapse leaving a roof. **Before heading to VOTB we spent about 3 hours clearing windfall from the bottom of the THOS walk off. It now heads skiers left and connects to the approach trail slightly downstream of where people previously went. Still steepish but not as bad as the rocky slab previously in use.

A bluebird day. -3c as we left the car to THOS and continued warming. Wind was chilly at times and got gusty. Although little snow was being seen being transported in the valley, significant snow plumes were observed high on Mt.Costigan.
