Clear, cold and calm conditions in the morning. Clouds and wind increased in the afternoon with snowfall (S-1) observed around 3 pm.
Snowpack
Facets and crust persist throughout the snowpack. Snow surface was a mixture of thin, wind-stiffened snow and melt-freeze crust. Minor cracking noted in wind-drifted areas below skis but no collapses observed. Snowpack was thin and isolated on southerly aspects and deepest on north and northeast slopes near and above treeline. Near surface faceting observed in wind-sheltered, shady terrain. No propagating results observed in stability test.
