Snowpack

upside down, sugar at the base with a dense/creamy storm slab. 4-6" of low density fluff on top from last few hours of the storm

Avalanche

Large (2-4" wide up to 35' long) fractures seen from the lift on northerly roadcuts and steep roll overs. Possibly skier triggered, propagated but did not slide. Breaking trail in low angle fresh/untouched areas resulted in collapses every 5-10 steps.
