Tiptoed up the illy with a conservative mindset and got green lights all day to carry on over to the 7 steps. The wind kept it surprisingly cool most of the day up high and we found dry wind pressed powder down the steps that was pleasant to ski. No signs of instability noted, though it was very warm and sloppy below the hut. Staying high and north facing where it was cooler seemed to be the move today.
