Skied Acidophilus and White Queen. Ski quality was good, about 10-15 cm over some firm surfaces made for fast riding. Noticeable wind affect in open treeline and alpine features, including some big wind pillows in the trees in 5-Mile. We stuck to the trees and avoided any bigger overhead hazards. We had no cracking or signs of instability today while skiing or skinning. Cornices are bigger and touchy, we kicked several off to test some slopes and could only produce one size one loose dry in steep terrain. Winds in the morning were south-easterly, switching to westerly as the storm came in the afternoon. Seems like the crowds have mellowed out a bit post Chirstmas holidays.
