The sky was completely covered with s -1 snowfall. Light breeze from the SW.
Snowpack
The upper 20 cm was fresh snow. Then the next 60 cm was rounds and comprised the slab. Finally the lower 20 cm was depth hoar that the avalanche slid on. See snow profile.
Avalanche
Remote triggered an avalanche on a NW aspect from around 100 feet away. The slope that the avalanche triggered on was 31 degrees and the crown was around 3 feet deep and extended about 20 feet across and stretched down 30 feet. The debris ran out 100 feet down the slope. D1.5 with debris piled around 5 feet deep in a few sections.
