Snowpack
Recent snow is settling into a weak slab (4-Finger) over October's very weak bed of facets (Fist). Ski penetration generally 15-20cm down into the Fist hard upper layers. Below lies a 40-50cm thick 4F slab. holding up the slab is several layers of Fist hard facets and a thin layer of depth hoar on the ground. Old crusts formed in October are faceting away.
