Snowpack

HS 27" on the Pass; HS 24" at the Windy Point test slope; entire snowpack is soft, cohesionless depth hoar, midpack facets and surface hoar. 16-18" new snow during a rapid storm load will likely cause failure to the ground. North Canyon: patchy snowpack depth 3" with facets and a surface MF crust. New storm load here not a factor in avalanches onto the highway.
