Weather
Clouds increased through the morning. By 10 am peaks were obscured to the southwest. By 11:30 we had lightning and skies became obscured. Winds were variable in direction thru the morning....From west, east, southwest, and north
Snowpack
Fairly good melt freeze crust at surface which began to erode after the cloud cover lowered. Snow pack in general was moist except for bottom two layers which were still dry & composed of depth hoar going round
Avalanche
Just one WLUR1D1 on a SE aspect above treeline. Nearby tracks hint that it was intentionally skier triggered but no sure.
