Partly cloudy with moments of clear and sunny. Mostly light to moderate west winds. Warm, near freezing temperatures near and above tree line. Very warm temperatures below tree line.
Snowpack
Before 11 am, the snowpack surface stayed mostly frozen up to tree line. Well above three line the snow surface stayed mostly dry. After noon, the snowpack was becoming wet and cohesion less below tree line on sunny slopes. Observed no recent avalanche activity other than wet loose roller balls on steep sunny low elevation slopes. Experienced no signs of instability other than wet cohesion less snow below tree line after noon.
