Below treeline and near treeline, sky was clear, wind was calm. Sunny and warm during the day, cold at night.
Snowpack
Snowpack was thin on all aspects BTL and NTL. From SSW to S, slopes are bare. Max HS found was 50cm. Sunny areas had a thin crust layer that was sometimes supportive to skiers, sometimes not. Wind loaded areas had some slabs 4F+ to 1F hardness. Where no slab was present, snow was not very supportive to skiers, we were going to ground and exposing dirt. Saw some evidence of wet snow activity on west facing slopes >35 deg - roller balls (see photo). On N facing slope in the sun BTL found a melt freeze crust 2cm thick 4cm below the surface. Also found a DH layer 14-16cm thick at the ground and got results CTMSC and ECTN16 at this layer. 1mm SH found at surface still present at 3pm. No cracking or whumphing observed while traveling.
