Snowpack
lower snowpack advanced faceted, mid pack is windslab that is gaining strength to keep a skier on top most of the time but still very reactive, and an upper storm slab that is still pretty weak. possible surface hoar/NSF under the top slab in protected areas. in protected trees there is less energy, but still moderate cracking and moderate collapsing. in open, wind affected areas below and at treeline was the most widespread cracking and collapsing. impressively large collapses. above treeline seemed to be less widespread cracking and collapsing, but we didn't spend too much time above treeline.
