Snowpack
Skied Commodore Gulch on Red Mtn Pass yesterday from 13,500'. Your forecast and description is right on. The new snow has been transported and densified (is that word?) by the wind into localized areas of soft slab as deep as 12". Felt avoiding the deeper blown in pockets was prudent and reasonable caution. Plenty of other areas where the new snow was more in the 6"range offered good skiing. Other tracks observed on steeper more exposed lines, no signs of natural or skier triggered avalanches
