Weather
Looked like snow and clouds throughout the morning based on CDOT cams in the Loveland Pass area. Decreasing clouds from about 1pm (start of skin/ski) to full sun at about 2pm through 5pm. Increasing winds from the northwest to about 10 mph steady gusts only slightly higher around 5pm to 6pm.
Snowpack
Snow pack in lower trees (untracked) was mix of sun affected damp and heavier than we've seen this year so far, and cold shaded. Fresh snow in the trees was around 6"-8" deep with solid base. Seemed like two distinct layers within the fresh snow (about 2" first then 4"-6" on top).
