AVALANCHE / SNOWPACK OBS: Storm slabs seems to be consolidating and strengthening with warm temps. Ski pen of 8" and boot pen of just 12". recent winds have created fresh surface wind crusts and wind board on exposed open slopes. As stated before...Impressive natural avalanche cycle on the North side of Snodgrass. Almost any >35* rollover or terrain feature, slid from mid-elevation on down. Interesting to note, the steep entrances, starting zones, and usual offenders of 2nd and 3rd bowl though have not slid yet.
